It’s crazy to me how often our best players cannot play in their jr season. They either opt out, smoke weed, can’t pass classes, or get hurt in practice. It is freaking unbelievable that ever year, but 2019 it seems like we have a young team

It's a part of our culture within the football program. We LSU fans also tend to put our best players way up on a pedestal, so it probably doesn't help with their egos.

The problem to me is you don't see this anywhere else happening at this pace and consistency over this long of a span. Yeah, some teams might have these kinds of problems for a year or two, but it has been happening to LSU for almost 15 years.

We have a big culture problem at LSU. Too many people are willing to sell out to achieve immediate gratification. We have no patience or stomach for process here and are starting to see the consequences of that desperate mindset.
