7. Dez Bryant - WR Oklahoma State
23. Julio Jones - WR Alabama
25. Arrelious Benn - WR Illinois
50. Mardy Gillard - WR Cincinnati
56. A.J. Green - WR Georgia
60. Golden Tate - WR Notre Dame
68. Eric Decker - WR Minnesota
74. Dezmon Briscoe - WR Kansas
106. Namaan Roosevelt - WR Buffalo
109. Dexter McCluster - WR Ole Miss

What a joke. There are two receivers on this list that should be above Lafell; there are two more that have an argument. Thats it.

1. Dez Bryant
2. Arrelious Benn
3. A.J. Green
4. Brandon Lafell
5. Julio Jones

Eric Decker and Golden Tate? You have to be kidding me.

the disrespect for this team is unbelievable

Lafell should be much higher, as well as Scott.

This list is retarded.

So much fail here...

LSU fans are the ONLY fans in the entire nation that would choose LaFell over Jones. If the draft was tomorrow, Jones would be ahead of LaFell easily.

This list is great. All it does is fuel the fire for the players.

+1

You are out of your damn mind if you would take LaFell over Jones.

What, objectively, has Jones done to be ranked ahead of Lafell?

He is a phenom. Played much of last year with a sports hernia and jacked up shoulder.

Jones is better, easily.

Doesn't matter. It's not what he "has done." It's what he "seems capable of doing."

Lafell may be a star, but he's not a freak like Julio.

AJ Green

ETA: i dont like AJ so low and i don't like rennie curran so low at 52 either. i don't really like reesing at 31 but the QB's ahead of him are all better so can't complain.

I guess you were never taught the definition of "objectively."

Lafell had:

More catches
More yards
More touchdowns

and did it in less games.

So, again, what has Jones done to be ranked ahead of either Lafell or A.J. Green?

Your objectivity, while possibly objective, is worthless.

The NFL doesn't draft based on stats. Stats don't tell the whole story on who has a chance to succeed in the NFL. Use your objectivity to recognize that fact, and then come back to the table.

When do you people realize that stats alone do not represent how good a player is?

If you thinkt that LaFell is better than Jones, then you have thick purple and gold glasses and dont know jack shite about football.

Ha.

So you admit that Jones has not done anything on the field that would cause him to be ranked over Lafell?

I'm still waiting for someone to show me one reason to rank Jones over Lafell other than "he's a phenom."

By stats yes, ability no.

I guess Naaman Roosevelt and Austin Collie are better than AJ, Julio, and LaFell.

Go figure.

And what you don't realize is that lists like these are driven by hype more than anything.

I sat and watched it all of 2006 when the media fell in love with Brady Quinn. I'm watching it again with Taylor Mays over Eric Berry.

Jones is an awesome talent, no doubt. But to this day, he hasn't done anything in the sport of football to be ranked ahead of Green or Lafell. Now, by the end of the year he may well be ahead of both of those guys.
