Exactly. This tiff was just emotions getting the best of them. It was surprising because they've always been cool with each other and Vitello had high praise for his experience at AR. It was blown out of proportion and they were over it by post game interview.

Vitello has a very high ceiling. We'd love to have him replace DVH when he retires. No one cares if they're assholes as long as the kids play for them and they win.

We could use a little less class around here. Maybe don’t give an opponent a victory lap after they beat you

I mean I have always hated when we do this, one thing to give an opposing starter a nice round of applause after he gets pulled after a well thrown game, but to high five the team that just ended my favorite teams season, not a big fan of.

Point of my post is, that the best program in college baseball is not going to hire some immature loud mouth to be it’s head coach. Skip Bertman won’t allow it, and Paul Mainieri will probably have a lot of input on who LSU hires as the next coach, and he will do the same thing.

I probably shouldn’t have said that he will never be the coach at LSU, but he isn’t going to be the next head coach we hire, can guarantee that. You have to have class, be mature, and know how to handle your own teams emotions, before you get a job at the best place in the country. A lot of you may not like it but that’s part of the requirements to be an LSU baseball coach.
