Yeah because Eastern Michigan is equivalent to the SEC championship game.

It is difficult to throw accurately when the defense is in the backfield before a QB can make his reads. Our biggest problem on offense is the O line was terrible at best.

Stop bringing in stats, his brain can only handle a very small size of information at any given time.

They're actually a much, much worse opponent. Good point.

Did Jefferson have WR's drop 3 TDs in the SEC ship like Brandon had happen to him in that game?

And that has nothing to do with coaching...at all.

Jefferson had a better sophomore season, though slightly.

Jefferson's junior season was very poor. It was, however, his best rushing season by far.

Can't forget to factor that into the equation.

Harris 13 TD 6 INT 2165 yds, 53.8% completion, 226 yds rushing, 4 TD

Jefferson 17 TD 7 INT, 2166 yds (exactly 1 yard more than Harris) 61.5%, 171 yds rushing, 1 TD.

Its pretty close, but Jefferson regressed big time. After his soph year he would throw 13 TDs total in the two years after, and 12 INT.

Thanks.

Eta: was he splitting time at all then or was he getting all the time that year? Having a hard time remembering when he and Lee were splitting some of the time.

As far as on-field play?

No, I don't think that is relevant.

This really isn't that difficult.

MILES is the reason the QBs can't succeed! He doesn't put them in positions to build their confidence and be successful. He demands execution in a shitty scheme that puts all the pressure on the QB.

Jimbo- freshman QB struggled...he made changes to the play calling to give him easier reads! The announcer even said "Jimbo is slowing this game down for his QB."

Les will never cut it again. It has passed him by.

Same yards, same td/int ratio.

Jefferswag had better comp %...but his offense also wasn't based on 50 yard throws.

JJ did other dumb Crap all the time. More delay of games, fumbles etc. They are pretty much equal if anything.

He also had some of the best olines in LSU history.

Maybe 3 out of 4 years, but that 2009 OL was beyond horrible. The worst I had ever seen. The RBs combined for 1400 yards and 14 TDs. It's a miracle that Jefferson not only completed 61.5% of his passes (3rd highest for an LSU QB since 2007), but he had 18 total TDs (17 pass TDs) in 11.5 games. His 2009 season is literally the 2nd best season by an LSU QB since 2007.

After that, he had all the good coached right out of him.
