You need to understand that Mainieri can't measure up to the bar Skip set. Skip couldn't do it either and in the late nineties the same boo birds were telling us that the game had passed Skip by.

Any baseball coach loses 25% of the time, loses a series here and there, and has their stars hit into double plays or have an off day on the mound.

But only at LSU do we have fans that always make the right moves every time.

Mainieri isn't Skip but he's way up there.
