Tips on where to stay Flordia/ LSU game

I have a bucket list and attending all SEC stadiums is high on my list.
Can the OP help me out on where would be a good place to stay and what sections would be good seating in the stadium?

Team stayed at hilton in ocala last year...30 min. from gainesville. Dont know if they're staying this yr. though.

I stayed in Ocala back in 2012 but only because it was the closest decent place with available hotels.

IF you are driving, stay in Lake City 50 miles north of G'ville near where I-10 and I-75 intersect.

LSU Florida is always a shite show, i'd recommend staying in Jacksonville TBH and just drive the hour and 15. Went last year it was LOUD

They have a ton of hotels off Archer and building more to accommodate more people. If they are booked try Alachua, there are a few hotels there it’s about 10 miles from Gainesville. Stadium is off newberry Rd/Hwy 26 exit on I-75

Gainesville sucks. It really does and their fans are the worst.
