I played against Broadmoor when Alen Stansburry was there. He was a monster. Also played against Trey McClure and Todd McClure when they were at central. Todd was a good player, but really didn't become a BEAST until he got to LSU. Also played against Warrick Dunn/Kevin Franklin at Catholic. I always thought Kevin was night and day better, but unfortunatly didn't get the same opportunities post high school at LSU.

To tell you how old I am, I played against Dalton Hilliard once in a pre-season scrimmage. I was a Sr., he was a Frosh. Let's just say I'm still looking for my jock at left corner.

went to school with taz mitchell in middle school and high school... in middle school he led us to a 77-1 beatdown of ponchatoula... they kept a defender on our side of the court when they played offense to prevent a fast break and dunk by taz

hs with marcus thornton.. i remember in the middle of a timeout in a student teacher game he made a shot from half court in front of scorers table without looking.. i know it was luck.. but impressive

Kerry West, Bud Cespiva, and John Reed were all from Pineville, but I'm not sure if they all played for PHS, there SET (I didn't know you were a River Rat). None of them played for Tioga, so maybe some (or all) of those three were PHS Rebels. The only scholarship player from Tioga was Chris Williams (DB) 78-81, but he was a good one.
