Are y'all going to Big Woodrow's? My buddy is coming in from NOLA and him, his dad and my son and I will be watching the game somewhere. Looking to be around some other Tigers.

There's always a good crowd there. I've gone a few times this year and had a blast. Probably the best place if you're gonna be in Houston.

Is it kid friendly? I have never been.

Probably wouldn't take a kid there. I think they check IDs when you go in actually.

I anticipate the crowd at Woodrow's being terrible compared to what it usually is: 1) Morning game. 2) Nationally televised game 3) Game less than an hour from the bar. There will still be Tiger fans there, though, so it's worth going there.

They won't check ID's for a morning game (e.g., they don't check ID's for noon Saints games and there's commonly kids there for those games).

As said already, 11am will be a different atmosphere. Wouldn't take him there at 7pm on Nov 3rd, but this one should be very safe. I see kids in there all of the time during the day. Nighttime, not so much.

You driving from League City to the galleria area for the game?

FYI, inside Mardi Gras Grill might be okay for kids. A buddy of mine took his little one there for a day game and it was fine.

Woodrow's is kid friendly. The weather is nice so there will be plenty of outside seats is what I would recommend for kids.

Get there early.

It will be crowded and College Station is almost two hours from Woodrow's

Little Woodrows in midtown is much better than Big Woodrows. Twice the number of flat screens. And you dont have to get there two hours before the game to get a table.

I like both and agree with your points. But, considering the weather this weekend the overall "feel", I'd lean towards Big Woodrows on this one.

The food is awful at Big Woodrows, stick to the drinks. I'd prefer Little Woodrows in Midtown to watch a game but Big Woodrow's is the place to gather for LSU games. The lot behind Big Woodrow's fills up real early. There should be parking in the garage next door or across the street in a grass lot run by Woodrow's.
