For about 2.5 quarters, the Tigers were clicking on all cylinders and looked like a top tier team. The real issue is why did we back down. Seems like the holding penalty on that Curry run set in motion the lackluster play. The good news is that we know the Tigers CAN play really well. What we don’t know is can we put it all together and keep it together for a complete game. The other good news is that this is a trait of a young team putting it together. They will get better.

It's encouraging that it didn't take a complete game to beat Miami or Auburn. I did like that we started strong against LaTech, but let off the gas a little early. This is easier to overlook than never getting started in a trap game and having to gut it out at the end, at least to me.

In this game, we got way up, let them come back, then turned it back on to finish strong. It wasn't a situation where Tech ran out of time for a comeback. We clearly would have won a "5th" quarter convincingly the way we were playing right at the end.

I sure as hell hope that wasn't Orgeron's mindset doing into this game, to not embarrass Tech. That would be laughable.

I think that's what so many fans are frustrated about. We know that we will need a complete game if we hope to win the SEC West and beyond.

Sleepwalking — also known as somnambulism — involves getting up and walking around while in a state of sleep. More common in children than adults, sleepwalking is usually outgrown by the teen years.

It's a young team, like you said.

You’ve got a team that is learning a new offense. A quarterback who has had even less time to learn that offense. He’s getting there week by week. And yet, ugly or pretty, we still find ways to win. And we are making improvements. Those are all good signs and things to be optimistic about.

No disrespect, man, but that was not why we didn’t play better and/or score more. We played conservative on offense and defense and, even then, didn’t execute. That being said, we’ve got the talent and potential to put it together, but we have to execute consistently.
