I think they're funny as hell. I agree - most people in their early 20's have this vision of how people are supposed to act when they're 40, not realizing that they too will be 40 someday in the not too distant future.
When you're married with kids and your life is full of responsibilities up to your nose, you gotta cut loose once in a while and act like you're 20-something again.

What do the haters think of LSU Spider Man, Snow White, etc.? I've got no problem with the students doing it either. All the people I know in Atlanta that have seen them think the Tiger Pimps are hilarious (in a good way).

Yeah, because no one has ever seen a Tiger Pimp cheer for the Tigers, right? These guys are just having fun...I don't get all the hate.
It's no different than fans painting their bodies and faces or wearing Superman costumes or wearing big wigs...it's the spirit of the game and the spirit of the school.

The LSU tiger pimps are funny and original. They are not trying to take attention away from the football team, they are just having a good time. This is the dumbest argument ever.
The people hating on them are probably the people that sit down the entire game.

Most people I know think they are funny. I would like to party with them one day. However, there are several people that seem like they would be fun to hang with that are on this board.

there's a difference from dressing up and going to the game
as opposed to going in a group of like 10 dudes, with stickers proclaiming "pimp nation", with their own website with bios of every member, pulling up in a limo, etc etc etc.....its over the top.
i dont see how that relates to a 60 year old black man dressed as Moses who has been going to Saints games for 20+ years, or a guy like Whistle Monster who sits from row and pumps the crowd up.
certainly 2 different types of "super fans"
