Report came from Shea Dixon.
I can't link the article because it's VIP but according to Shea's sources, Harris is viewed by the coaches as one of the most talented young players in the conference and he is showing signs of grasping the offense. The general feeling is that Harris is not only more talented, but if Harris continues on this trajectory, he will have the decided edge over Jennings in the opinion of Miles and Cameron. Things appear to be looking up for Brandon Harris.

I truly am starting to feel this way as well. He's too talented to not just be the guy if the alternatives aren't all that.

I've been saying it for awhile. Other QB's come along quicker in spread offenses because the spread doesn't involve reads. It's basically backyard one read football. That's why NFL teams are having so much trouble finding good QB's because the spread is limiting them. Harris is being trained to be an NFL ready quarterback. When he is ready though, which it appears is on the horizon, watch out.

bullshite. Dude in the Whitfield thread said Harris is incapable of getting away from his "run first" ways that he has relied on his entire career.

Was that the same guy who said Collins would leave the police station in cuffs?

I'm not surprised. I still expect Les to keep saying the same BS about playing both until week 2, but I'm confident that by then Harris will be 'the guy'.

Les won't announce either way. Just the way he does things.

Yeah I think he wants Harris to be the guy but he doesn't want Jennings or Harris to know that. Really no need to announce it now anyway. Plus Harris still does have work to do. This is all hinging on Harris continuing to work hard and progress.

I guess this is comforting. But we'll see what happens later this summer. It would be an interesting move if Harris ended up at SEC Media Days.

This is going to be an interesting opening to the season. Last year CLM had a lot of patience with AJ because deep in his heart he knew that team was a longshot to win it all. This year LSU is in much better position despite what you may see in the poles and we can be a contender. We cannot afford to have a "Learning loss" this year. He will have to make adjustments, if needed, much quicker than he has in the past.

I'm really optimistic about LSU this year. I think Harris has a good not great year but the team is good enough around him that we will be contenders in November.

Above average is all we need.

Well, if Harris ISN'T the guy we are fricked.... again.
Jennings had more than sufficient time to become an SEC caliber quarterback and couldn't. He just does not have it.

This summer is going to be fun. You know who makes the final decision on who will be the starting QB?
You know who trolls LSU fans more than anyone who ever breathed a breath of air?
Yep, they are the same person and he is at it again. Eat up all this BS up and enjoy because once the season starts it will probably be a totally different story.

He should bring AJ and BH just to troll the hell out of everyone

Congrats on being the first miserable guy in an otherwise positive thread.

frick'em and ignore them man. When the lights come on, (start of the football season) they will disappear (like roaches) when the quarterback position is no longer something they can bitch about.
