April 28, 2012- In the first game following the passing of LSU legend Dandy Don, the Tigers trailed Georgia 4-2 in the 8th inning at Alex Box. After doubles by Jordy Snickeris and Jacoby Jones and a walk by Arby Fields, Mason Katz blasted a grand slam and Raph Rhymes followed with a rare homer of his own and the Tigers came back to win 8-4 with what is know known as the Dandy Don rally

I was there.. One of the best LSU experiences I've had and I've been to some of the best football games over the past decade..

It happened on the same day he passed. Lyn Rollings said some very nice things about Dandy Don on the air. It's been referred to on the site as the Dandy Don Miracle.
