OFFENSE

Gary Crowton, LSU: $469,917

Jim Chaney, Tennessee: $380,000

Jim McElwain, Alabama: $360,150

Gus Malzahn, Auburn: $350,000

Mike Bobo, Georgia: $325,600

Joker Phillips, Kentucky: $323,460

Paul Petrino, Arkansas: $308,000

Kent Austin, Ole Miss: $300,000

Les Koenning, Mississippi State: $250,000

Steve Addazio, Florida: $210,000

Steve Spurrier Jr., South Carolina: $209,000

And LSU pays Crowton as the highest paid offensive coordinator in the SEC for an offense that ranks 106th in the nation?

His pay was agreed upon when he signed his contract and everyone was pumped about him being here. There's nothing we can do about it now.

So if/when we get a new OC and have the same result in offense can we then fire Miles?!?!?!?!... you really think Crowton is calling the plays throughout every game??? if you do your a fool.

Link? How about some actual evidence of this? Not saying it is false but until you show some proof, I am sick of hearing this mantra.

There are plenty of coaches that leave 90% of the play calling to the OC except in certain situations.

What exactly is you evidence to the contrary?

Crowton sure didn't deserve the highest salary in the SEC this season.

Yes, if/when we get a new OC and IF we have the same result in offense, then we can fire Miles. As of now though, there's no proof that Crowton does not call the plays.

LOL.. not saying there is a link showing that Miles calls the plays... we pull a guy that was averaging 40 points a game with not even half the talent we have and you really think he cannot produce??? It's pretty obvious whose fault this is. What exactly does Miles bring to the table????? O'line development?? this years O'line is probably the worse i've seen in a very long time. Seriously... what can you honestly say Miles brings to the team?

Not saying he does bring a whole lot to the table. But there are so many scenarios that play out. What if Crowton's offensive style that worked at Oregon doesn't work here? Supposedly, he tries to run a spread, but it doesn't look like he commits to it. But at the same time, Les Miles, isn't as terrible of a coach that everyone on here makes him out to be.

since the university depends on the football revenues from tickets sold at death valley, if the ranturds who want miles fired could cancel their tickets, it would lead a deluge of cancellations and the athletic department would fire miles and crowton right away.

it's the old money speaks law.
just ranting and being negative about lsu football, it's coaches and players only keeps other negative ranters online.

yall have to get together and take the money away!!! start your cancellations. in fact, if you would apply for alabama season tkts, you would be killing two birds w/ one stone. since you know that saban is an unfaithful kinda guy, well, heck, he would see how much yall miss him and he would drop al in a second and come back to yall since you are sooooo faithful.

other than that, sold out tiger stadium, b/c of les miles' record will keep him leading the lsu team.

now, boys, that's a rant.

Oh he brings nothing more than a 51-14 record with 5 arse whippings handed out in his bowl games.

Soon as you have that resume I'll listen to the crap spewing out of your mouth.

You say it is obvious yet you can't back that statement up in any way.

I take solace in the fact that Miles will be our head coach for years to come and the misery it causes idiots like you brings comfort and joy to my merry christmas.
