it was and it was encouraging. you could see by the way the DBs played that he sold them on the shorter route before going deeper. but he did some other stuff that's concerning that's been noted. and he's still way too inconsistent on his throws, even some of the ones that are caught.

Ironically, the opposite of Lee who throwns an awesome deep ball, but many of his INT's came by LB's or DB's in the middle of the field throwing across the line.

He's as bad a freshman at throwing the deep ball as we've had in a very long time.
