The only guy I know says majority of time speant with position coach (obviously) but nothing about Miles micro managing like I see being said in this thread.
Also what I found interesting is he said they practice and run plays to nausea that never see the field on game day ie secret play book everyone here always talks about ha. I guess I should ask him did any of those include a pass from RS.

I know players from the 2003 National Championship team and they all have nothing but the highest respect for Saban. Some went to the NFL and they said Saban worked them harder at LSU than they worked in the NFL.
I know some players who played for Miles. They say he is nice to play for and he stands up for his players but that he is not very organized and seems kinda scatterbrained. They say he has too much involvement in the offense and everyone would be better off if he let the offensive coaches do their job.

This thread is so full of BS from both sides.

There is a lot of truth in this thread. But the truth is like kryptonite to the sunshine pumpers. When confronted with the truth the standard operating procedure is:
1. Deny
2. Defend
3. Attack

I like how the only "truth" in this thread is the negative shite towards Miles.

I am friends with one that now plays in the NFL (no name) he said when he graduated he went straight to Atlanta to a training camp for 4 months and learned more in those 4 months than he learned the entire 4 years at LSU. Still a diehard, PASSIONATE LSU fan , never said anything about CLM.
Holy sweet Jesus. Les has surrounded himself with some of the better position coaches in the county yet your "friend" didn't learn much from 4 years in the program?
Do you people think about this shite before you type??

Les is an elite recruiter, outstanding motivator, unique personality and a winning football coach. But he is goofy and at times it gets the best of him, but he runs a program that makes money, wins games, and graduates players in both degrees and the NFL.
