In two games this season our pass rush has throughly dominated overmatched offensive lines . In turn, it’s lead to our super talented backend not being fully tested yet agaisnt an elite qb and pass game. Clemson had some dogs at wr but didn’t have the qb , system or pass pro to challenge our talented corners and safeties.

Ole Miss will finally be the first test for this db unit in coverage. Pickett, Benefield , spears, woodland and Cooley have a chance to go out there and prove they’re the best backend in CFB by strapping up this talented ole Miss wr room and overall pass game . I’m excited to see how they match up with the speed ole Miss has at receiver.

Does Ole Miss have that much WR talent after Duce Alexander?

Their fans don’t seem to think so

They got some hyped guys out of the transfer portal like Jontay cook but so far Trinidad’s chemistry with those guys def isn’t as strong as it is with deuce. In the Louisville game outside of deuce no wr had more than 47 receiving yards. The TE is prob their 2nd biggest wr threat in the pass game in terms of chemistry with Trinidad

I have visions in my head from hearing Baker talk of the Bandits.

I think the front seven is going to be tested even more. They have to contain the QB

They don’t. Their path to victory is Trinidad going absolutely nuclear playing a near perfect game and Leavitt absolutely shitting himself.

It’s a coaching mismatch on both sides of the ball. Weather the storm early and wear their asses down in the 2nd half. All that adrenaline that they will release in the 1st quarter will tire them out and we can really use it to our advantage

Got news for you we were tested on Saturday by La Tech. This will be a bigger test this Saturday but Tech was a test too. Tech is good.

Exactly. I think this game is going to look like a lower scoring version of LSU vs Alabama 2023. Ole Miss keeps up at first but after a while our defense clamps down on them and their defense won’t have much Success stopping leavitt’s legs or Trey’Dez
