Haha - like CBK doesn’t control offense and said at halftime the he was gonna ride OL and win/lose with them.

When you have a guy catch 7 for 94 in the first half and get 1 target (unless you count the throw away on our last offensive snap) the rest of the game, its hard to disagree. And USC did nothing to adjust to that other than send 5 instead of 4 a few times. I understand wanting to run the ball but I don't understand doing it into a 4 man line with 7 in the box with a TE who cant block a midgets cock. Even when it worked, a few of those times it was the wrong play call overcome by effort.

Thought we had some good routes called in the second half that Nuss didn’t let develop due to fear of pressure. Specifically the throwaway to Green had Daniels running a man beater which should have been his first option. The check down to Josh Williams he also did because pressure was somewhat close but still had time to find the open crosser. The first fourth down play he threw the ball away completely which simply cannot happen on 4th down.
Not saying Nuss was bad by any means but Miller was much much better. He was willing to stand in the pocket & take pressure as well as trust his guys to make plays. Would have won last night with Moss as our QB and a little fearful of what Nuss may look like when we play a team that brings real pressure consistently.
From what I remember Nuss didn’t have any sacks in the Wisconsin game either. It’s similar to the argument in 2022 with JD and the limited interceptions. Nuss has to be able to stand in the pocket, let plays develop & take some risks. A sack on 3rd down isn’t much different than a 2 yard pass.

It’s as simple as our line pass blocks great but can’t run block to save their lives, the coaches should have seen that. Nuss had all day to throw and it was obvious.

Yeah, I don't get it. Fifteen targets between Lacy and Taylor in the first half, two each in the second half even as the game was going down the tubes.

You just named 2 out of a 4 quarter game
One was a TD. Exactly my point
