Miles' reply was that the quarterbacks have looked very good in practice getting the ball to the receivers

I looked good in the front yard yesterday evening getting the ball to my 15 y.o. son. Can I play, Coach?

What kills me is that you guys do not understand CLM's sense of humor. Of fricking course they practiced to stop Newton. He was being fricking sarcastic. Most of the things CLM says has some sort of humor to them if you can understand them.

It probably doesn't help that no AU opponent has a player anywhere capable of giving representative practice reps of Newton. Let's see, combine Tebow and DMac into one person with a better throwing motion than Tebow. Yeah, those guys are in abundance, especially at LSU where the QB's are elite players.

Coaching and learning plays and tendencies in practice, yes. Does it do much good in real contests when never having faced a player like CM? Evidently not too much. I doubt the defensive players ever forget that beatdown against the running game, though.

Just think how easily this team could be sitting on 3-L's right now.

Why would you assume a Vandy Football player is smarter than my professor who went to Cornell?

Calling us the vandy of the west is retarted. honestly stupid. Every loves how Miss St. is playing and we beat them for three touchdowns.

Because we still have the same dumb arse coach, & the way its going it will probably not change for about 8 more years. Vandy of the west

That will never happen, doesn't Miles only have 3 more years on his contract. He will keep on recruiting like he does we win at least 8 games a year and GOD I hope LSU hires a great coach

I'm still suprised Studwara & Crowton were not gone after last year. Their buyout I'm sorry is not as big as Miles. Anyway, getting 3 new assistant coaches this year has not paid any dividends on seeing anything different than the past two years. All this crap Miles says they are doing at practice and then goof in the game due to game management decisons with the game on the line calls for some coaching changes. Give any top 5 or 10 coach this same exact LSU team and numerous teams would have trouble even worrying about winning games in the last minute of the 4th QTR every year for the last 3 years.
