So you are blaming Jefferson..........
No. Agree was a bad play call.
I am talking about the quote directly. The coaching staff thinks the QB will not take a sack there. They were wrong. We all know JJ's pocket presence at this stage of his career is not a strong suit. He will get better at that, he's 19 yrs old. So it was LM mistake to think that JJ would get rid of the ball.
Look, Les Miles is to blame for the loss. From everything I heard and read he has taken responsability for that. Picking apart bits and pieces of his full press conference is my point.

That one quote totatally disproves that he is taking blame.........Not one word out of Les Miles's mouth should have been directed about a player from LSU.........I've never seen a team in the final minutes want it more and give more effort than the one I witness yesterday.
Jefferson was getting blasted and somehow managing some throws that we hadn't seen all year long. Rueban Randle was Mr. CLUTCH......our team had the will to win........
That specific quote pisses me off because Jefferson had lead his team into winning position......The sack was a bad decision on his part but again he had 10(decisions) before that 1(bad decision) that were on the money.......
It's a coward move.

then they're idiots
he had been taking sacks all game, esp at the end when OM was selling out on the blitz
*ETA: he's been taking a ton of sacks ALL YEAR

dude your dislike is blinding you. This was also a LM quote from his press conference
quote:
"I can only tell you that the management at the back end of the game was the issue. I take the blame without question."
how is that not taking responsibility?
SFP, you made my point. How could they think that JJ might not take a sack there? It's been happening all year, even when he has time. Not jumping on the kid, his is learning on the job, he will make mistakes. So it was LM mistake to think JJ would not take a sack, which is what the quote said
