USFL, XFL, and Arena Football say hello. An NFL farm system will not cost the NCAA Billions. College football fans watch their football teams b/c of loyalty to their Alma Mater or the school that best represents their region.
There is a reason that NBC continues to renew its contract with Notre Dame despite the fact they have been barely relevant to College Football ball over the past decade and CBS Sports isn't covering the Service Academy games b/c of the future NFL players that are playing.
