but let's say LSU pulls it out on Saturday. What's the chances that Alabama gets another shot in the playoffs and we're stuck with 2011 scenario redux???

Yes I do, no way in hell they will be the best one loss team in America. Plus, everyone is sick of them. No way in hell. Even the PAC-12 winner OREGON/UTAH would have a better resume than Bama.

The head of the CFP selection committee was asked why Bama was ahead of Penn St and Clemson. His response was something like "we just thought they were better." It doesn't matter who they've played. They will get in with one loss barring something crazy happening.
