We've seen it year after year and im ok with it. He will keep forcing these guys through their struggles and make them throw their 2nd and 3rd pitches in hitters counts until they get comfortable. By May a few of these guys will push through and turn the corner. We just have to hope we win enough games in the meantime.

That’s fine and all, but I don’t think we have the horses to stay above .500 in league play this year.

Just checked and we issued double digit free passes 7 times last year, 3 of them in SEC games. 5 times in 2024, 4 of them in SEC games.

This may be true. The last few years weve been able to win enough to get by until the staff figured it out. Not sure that'll happen this year

You're probably right. It's very frustrating watching as a fan, but if we hadn't seen it before (and to a championship level), then I don't think I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm still going to grumble and cuss about it, but I do suspect that a lot of those guys I'm cussing at early in the season are going to have me cheering at the end of it.
