Re-watch the game and you'll see it. 11 minutes to go and we're going up by 27 till Tbob got flagged for an iffy holding call. I didn't feel like we played well till I re-watched the game.

To be fair we were absolutely awful for the last 10 minutes.

Come on now HBT a first offense DWI, being a little hard just cause you are pissed at the player.

I am sure the player did his time over summer and fall practice.

I do not care about the score, performance on field was far from a drubbing. At the half UNC was down by 20 on scoreboard but in stat sheet they were right there with LSU that is not being taken to woodshed and beat.

LSU played well and took advantage of it's opportunities but LSU never really dominated this game.

We had 5 turnovers to their 3 and were still going up by 27 points with 10 minutes to go in the game. After Tbob was flagged for the holding that brought back a TD we fell apart.

It was not even close until late in the 4th quarter. This team has got to learn to play fundamental football through all 4 quarters, it's 60 minutes of football not 50. I think the team should be running steps during the week.

i agree, ridly also fubmled in the first half that cost us at least 3 points. he just got the first down on unc's 12 yrd line too. we could have scored in the 40s, but fumbles and penalties cost us. imo, that can be fixed. hell addai and la fell used to fumble a lot too.

Unfortunately, it's the same players making the same mistakes. How about keeping them on the bench.

that coach sure is a hardass on his players

Do you think Butch Davis would handle this situation better?

Tbob, Richard Murphy, and Ridley. I'd cut back on Ridleys carries against Vandy, he looked good outside of the fumbles.

They have to focus. If they play mistake free football we win by 40. They didn't and they're the reason UNC was allowed to hang around. If they replicate their performance next week they should be on the bench.

This is hard for me but I finally agree with you on something.

We had 2 true freshman in our secondary at the end of the game. They'll improve as time goes on. I'm not to worried, especially after re-watching the game.

This would have been the 2nd best performance of last year. This team has improved without a doubt.

They need to listen to the man. He's not a great coach for no reason. THIS is what they need. In the 4th quarter.

The only dominating thing in the game was the play of Patrick Peterson.

A word comes to mind.

It starts with a "C" and rhymes with "broaching".

See if you can guess what it is....

This game was over folks. Quit acting like the sky is falling. We drubbed their arse for 50 minutes, they have to learn to finish. This board doesn't sound like we had a 20 point lead and were driving on them with 10 minutes to go in the game. Why not? It was a 2008 style miracle that they were close to winning.

That was the theme of the spring and fall training camps. Last year 3 out of the 4 games we loss LSU had the lead going into the 4th quarter but subsequently loss the game. Hence, even though that was supposedly the theme of spring and fall training camps, last night LSU miserably failed again, meaning that the coaching and communication of the program stinks to high heaven.

Moreover, as has been the case ever since Crowton has arrived here, LSU trailed again in the number of plays, time of possession, total yards, and first downs. Making it obvious that LSU isn’t defeating its opponents, but is getting luckier than its opponents.

This is a very accurate statement. People want to ignore the fact that LSU has more youth starting this year than I can remember. Mistakes are going to happen.
