Dude, you can say that about any player if you want. The point is that fulton is a highly regarded cornerback, not by us fans, by coaches on the LSU staff that see him play everyday against LSU caliber talent. The odds of Fulton being a good player for us are way better than him not being a good player, solely based on what coaches have said of him and his ability to play football. It just that simple.

I remember Trevonte Valentine being unblockable. I remember Anthony Johnson being one of the best defensive tackles to come to LSU. Nothings set in stone in football. That's all I'm saying.

On the other hand, some players have come in with little to no fanfare and balled out of their minds.
I hope Fulton is on the field this year. We are DBU, cant lose our grip on that.

The coaches have basically said he's gonna start if eligible. That was never said about valentine or freak

I get what you're saying. I'm saying that the odds of him being a starter for us are 100% if he eliglible. Some players are busts, I just don't see fulton being one of those players. For every player you named, like freak and valentine, there have been dozens that have been acclaimed by our coaches and turn out to be the real deal. Like I said, I take core Raymond's opinion very seriously and it carries a lot of weight to me...maybe that's just me, but that's why I am excited for fulton to be a part of this team and be a starter for us. Could it turn out him being a bust as you say? I guess it could, but I would bet you it doesnt based on what has been said about him.

I agree with everything you are saying. I hope Fulton is great. If he is that only makes this defense even nastier. I hope the NCAA does the right thing

I am too man. The thing I was arguing initially in this thread is whoever said our secondary became the best in the country the second Fulton gets reinstated. That could be the case but I just dont think there's any way to say that definitively right now. Kinda like the guy that said Delpit will be a first round pick lol.
Before last season people were saying we would have 4 or 5 players drafted in the first round minimum. We ended up having zero drafted in the first round lol.
It just blows my mind that people on here can see stuff like that happen year after year after year but still say stuff with so much conviction and certainty. That's why so many people laugh at this message board. It's not that serious though.

I expect Battle to start against the U because he has earned that right. By mid season don't be surprised if Monroe is starting next to Delpit. My be one of the best tandems in the SEC.
