I’m not doing any of that. I understand how it works. LSU women’s basketball loses an excessive amount of money compared to other women’s basketball programs.

It’s opinions and at least the bottom line supports being skeptical of financing a program bleeding $$$

The trope that NCAA women’s basketball is more popular than college baseball is tiresome. Markets indicate popularity. LSU baseball generated 4x the revenue of the women’s basketball team in 2024 (over $10 mil vs $2.5 mil).

If women’s basketball was more popular, its revenue wouldn’t be 25% of baseball. Instead, it would be able to demand & generated more revenue. It can’t.

Markets aren’t wrong.
