Pre-game players are somewhat interesting,

The ESPN contract forced interview with a player during the game is ridiculously stupid. Let the kid watch his teammates play and leave him alone. The only thing worse is forcing coaches to divert their attention from their job to answer questions with coach speak.

You want to get my interest? Point a boom mic at the dugout and home plate and give me unfiltered dugout and umpire chatter.

You would be amazed at what you will hear! Lol I always heard some good shite when I played. Of course, that was almost 50 years ago!

Went to visit an old friend who was coaching high school baseball at a tourney in Lake Charles. Their game was first thing in the morning and I was standing beside their dugout waiting on them to get off the bus, basically the only person near the field as another team (I believe it was Cecila HS) was taking infield.

Their coach just absolutely laces a grounder at the third baseman. He ole's the first one and after he waves at the second one the coach screams "YOU GOT TO GET IN FRONT DAH MOTHA frickAH". I bust out laughing and the coach jumps out of his skin when he sees me. I just waved and he went back to infield looking like he had used one of his lifelines.

Loved the segment last night where David Delucci poked Luke Hill from Ole Miss about going to Episcopal and not Catholic High. Then Hill went on to say that he got into trouble as a kid for buying a signed Delucci pic at a silent auction for a bunch of money without his dad knowing.

Good stuff! I'm going to say the SEC guys will go with someone older and known on the team - Josh Pierson.

If they were smart, Jake Brown has the most potential for comedy gold.
