This trade is a little sad. Good that Theriot gets to go to a better situation but he used to be somewhat of a rockstar in Chicago, there were and are a lot of Theriot jerseys in Wrigley. A guy like Starlin Castro made him expendable so I think this trade benefits the Cubs and Ryan. Best of luck to him and I guess I'll have to start watching some Dodgers games now

Will this be good news for Mike Fontenot? I hope Fontenot gets back in the regular line-up.

I have heard that it likely won't even benefit Fontenot (unfortunately). Sandberg with the Cubs wants to call up a supposed-stud from AAA Iowa. Fontenot needs to catch fire quick if he gets another stint in the lineup.
