I thought they both played fantastically today. My only concern is that we have tendencies when a given qb is in the game that Bama, with two weeks, will have a great handle on. We need to self scout on the bye week and make sure we have some wrinkles.

It is becoming very obvious that this team is much more dangerous with JLee in the game. We have absolutely no passing attack with JJ and we look very much like last years offense with him in the game. He had a solid day rushing the ball but ultimately our only chance against Bama is if JLee plays 95% of the snaps.

One throw in particular was at the end of the first drive to start the second half. Lee hit Rueben on an out route and it was a throw that JJ simply cant make and wont even attempt.

Let JJ come in for garbage time and lets roll behind Lee

The only controversy is with trolls like you.
Back to junior high, bitch.

It brought back bad memories of last year when Lee had to replace him today in order to bail us out on 3rd & 15.

they'll vary some stuff up. they had a pass play set up outta that JJ in the gun/ JC at fullback look (complete with Tebow-esque QB playaction), but it didn't work. they'll prob tweak something off that. not to mention JJ's looked pretty good throwing vs. Bama the past few yrs.

speaking of the JJ/ fullback formation, I wish they'd give Hilliard a couple snaps outta that look too. Kenny could do a few more things with the rock.

Exactly. Les doesn't even think JJ is as capable of converting and puts Lee in that situation. It isn't fair to Lee IMO.

it is very telling that when you must have a first down conversion Lee is given the ball. JJ does a few things very well, the problem is we don't NEED him doing those things to win. Lee on the other hands does things we MUST have to win.

Would rather him not be in the game, to be honest.

Ok.

The only controversy is why Lee remained in the game after the second series. Playing Lee kept Tennessee in the game. If Jefferson doesn't start the second half, this would have been a 1 score game going into the 4th.

odd thing was was that a really safe throw and they brought in Lee to make it.

later in the game though, JJ completed a nice pass on 3rd down to ODB for a 1st. and then Lee comes in later in that drive on a 3rd and plays the rest of it. odd subbing.

Maybe Les has a developmental plan? Maybe Les is thinking ahead? Maybe Les is smarter than all of the Play Station coaches areound here.

Probably doesn't even draw up game plans either.
Just toss the ball out and let the boys play.

JL didn't look good starting out 2 for 5, 20% .JJ was 1 for 3 starting out ,33%, but JJ gets criticized even though he doesn't get a chance to bring his percentage up like JL.

So LSU didn't need any 1st downs to go on a clock eating 99yd drive?
You act like it was a 79 yard run and Lee had to bail the O out.
You should check out the ypc before spewing hate.
