There is an offensive masterclass in session tonight

But it isn’t being taught by Mike Denbrock.
That first drive was great, but he’s had no answers to OSU’s defensive adjustments. Their fatal flaw has finally been exposed. They can only win one way- stay even to ahead on the scoreboard and they can never get behind the sticks. They also can’t win if they have to pass. As soon as either happens, they fall apart.
On the other side, OSU’s offense has barely been slowed down by what we’ve been told is one of the best defenses in college football. Everything is working. They can attack multiple ways all over the field and Chip Kelly was by far and away the hire of the season.
I liked Denbrock and he’s good at what he’s good at, but he’s being absolutely schooled tonight. This is HIS real offense- the one he ran at Cincinnati and left LSU to run again. It’s what he wants to do, but it’s just very limited the moment one thing doesn’t quite work.

Of course. It's more than that though. He game plan is great. Ohio state has backups playing on the o line.

Turning five stars loose matters. That didn’t happen the two previous seasons at OSU.
Also, ND isn’t a bunch of 3 stars anymore. They’ve recruited at a top 10 or better level for the last 6 years.

Ohio State has the most star talent in the country. It’s no surprise that they are abusing everyone they face lately

Daniels can make people look like magicians.

I do have to say- Day and Kelly has gone WAY too conservative. That and the TO definitely allowed ND to get back in this.
