he's about 6th in the sec in coaching, about even with richt, the underachiever. miles, is poor in game management skills and communication.
And you are a clueless idiot.
Name the 5 coaches at their current SEC schools with a 4-0 bowl record, a SEC title, and a national title?

3rd or 4th best coach in SEC. Maybe an upset or two once in a while but expect to be #3 or #4 most of the time. Get used to it.

We are used to it. Used to reading crap from the likes of you and a few others who think their shite don't stink when in fact it smells up the whole board.
If you don't like 4 bowl wins in 4 trys, 50 wins in less than 5 years, and a title, then take your sorry arse down the road. We are better off without idiots like you who claim to be Tiger fans, but who do nothing but tear our team down and Miles is part of the team, girlie man.

Great post.
Chicken, really.
How many "Miles sucks" posts do we need to read this season? Do every one of these guys think they are so profound they've got to start their own thread?
Where is Admin?
How about merging all these threads and let the "Miles sucks" aficionados play on one thread til their hearts' content?

Come on! I like him, but he is a average at best college HC and LSU and their fans deserve better.

Alabama was starting a new QB and for the most part, so were we. Why then would we be picked 3rd?
Because Alabama went undefeated in the SEC the year prior and Ole Miss turned it on late and had some impressive wins the year prior while LSU had a 7-5 record the year prior.
More proof that preseason rankings are crap.

I can't think of one that's performed on a consistently high level enough to be a full time starter or be a top player on their team.
It is the job of Miles & Co. to develop players to the point where they are appealing for NFL scouts. It's the job of their coach in the NFL to help them transition from college to pro level.
In either case, Jacob Hester is set to make the Pro Bowl in his second year.

Name to us the other average coaches HC with 50 wins in under 5 years, unbeaten in bowl games, never loss to a non-BCS team, and a national title?
Some of you people are just plain stupid!

1. Myer
2. Saban
3. Spurrier
4. Nutt
5. Mullen
6. Petrino
7. Richt
Hell, I can give you 7.

When you start name calling the LSU coach on a LSU board, you show yourself to be what you are...both a coward and a fool.
You changed the question and never answered it, but what else should we expect from a Miles hater hiding on a board and taking shots at his own teams coach. That's if we are to believe LSU is your team and that's doubtful.

Um, yeah...there are.
there are a very vocal minority of LSU fans who have hated the guy since BEFORE he took the field for our "home" game against ASU in 2005. the Tennessee loss on Monday night that year after Rita sealed his fate with that group, and it doesn;t matter what the guy does from here on out, as evidence by the amount of spin that has been spun after his 2007 team winning it all.
The first step to recovery is being honest. There are some in our own fanbase that dislike LSU's coach for reason's other than wins and losses, and unlike other circumstances where there may be some issue like he's a dick, or he's done something unethical but still wins, etc...Miles is none of those. The guy's a class act who has done nothing but be a fine leader for the program since he took over. If the best you can say is that he speaks differently than you'd like him to, and that he's lost 2 straight to UF and BAMA (none of which means that trend will continue) than you're looking for things to complain about.
But looking at his LSU program and our former coach's LSU program, Miles' is more successful by all ways of comparing the two. It take a wild amount of revisionism to suggst Saban's LSU program was better...

and you'd be wrong on most of them. Michegan would jump at the chance to take Miles over most of the candidates you just mentioned. The Rant will be interesting tonight after the game. I'm not optimistic as I think that JJ is still very limited. Plus, D has been gashed in running game too often. We'll see. Next year, most of what I consider legit reasons for struggling this year will disappear, especially on offense.

I forget...how many points are awarded to the team who has the most well spoken coach? 3...7? Remember when LSU got all those extra points on the road in Athens in 2004 thanks to the pregame Saban interview he did? That was awesome!
It must be significant given how many points we are clearly losing out on because of this aspect of Miles' abilities.

Great post and you are spot on target.
I've read the crap posted here for two years with little comment about it, but enough is enough.
Why the name calling of our coach and attacks on our players are allowed to continue here is a mystery to me.
Is Miles the best coach in the world? No, but he is our coach and what he has done here deserves better than to be picked apart by his own fans and to have him called names. His treatment by some here show him to be a better coach than they are fans.

What say you now? Still think Miles has control of the team. National papers are calling Miles an idiot!
