I would have no problem with Mullen. I actually think he is the best choice if we cant get fisher. As long as we keep some of our coaches.

As much as we all have prayed for QB's and QB development that issue would be laid to rest with Jimbo. 3 QB's drafted to the NFL in six years under him.

Coach O and Aranda with a high profile OC is a nice second choice.

I agree with this but you have zero clue how things would turn out if they gave the job to O. You never know, He may come in and get a few 10 win seasons....

So Mullen hasn't developed Quaterbacks?

He has done as good if not better than Jimbo

No shite.

Thats why the ones who don't want O, want someone who has proven that they can run a program successfully.

Mullen is responsible for 6 of states 19 bowl births.

Fedora has won at two different schools including taking one from probation to the ACC championship in the same division as Miami and Virginia Tech.

Both have proven to be successful. Orgeron is a wild card.

No. coach O is doing what a coach should do... let his coaches do their job..... something Miles failed at....

Ha ha. Yeah he failed into the most successful tenure in lsu history.

Deal with it boy.

And of course o isnt running the offense or the defense because HE NEVER HAS.

Again I agree. I have never said O was more qualified than anybody we may want. All I know is that it's great to watch a very talented team play up to that talent... Miles has failed at this the last 4 years.

LSU recruits itself and has proven even an avg coach can have success while established. Miles and the interim have shown this..

As a football analyst, you probably make a pretty good interior decorator.

youre fricking kidding arent you?

But you get 2 NO answers if you ask the same questions to Aranda.

Its more than ed orgeron.
Ed orgeron has never run a successful program. 8 games isnt running a program.
Ed orgeron has never ran an offense let alone a good one.
Es orgeron has never ran a defense.
Let alonea good one.

Aranda has actually ran a successful defense at 2 big time programs.

Its laughavke that you think Orgeron's 8 game tenure as interim should count.

He didnt hire the coaches.
He didnt do the majority of recruiting.
He was a dline coach at each program. To suggest that 8 games constitutes running a program is laughable.

2nd in the sec wins. 2nd in the west in sec wins. But hey dont let facts get in the way of you posting ignorant shite.

3 of those 4 years were 10 win seasons and top 16 finishes.

And of course oregeon is letting his coaches coach. He doesnt know how to run an offense or defense. He never has.

It's not his job to run either. His job is to let his assistants do there jobs... that's what he is doing... looks pretty good so far....

many good points being made but I say that any hire of any coach is a gamble at it's core

How does Georgia and South Carolina feel right now ?

How does Florida feel with ole yellow teeth right now?

But think about this right now - CEO leads Lsu to wins over the Gators / aTm in last 2 games. How many teams on a neutral field would Lsu not be favored at the end of this season?

Short list

Bama and I know there are a couple of more but not many !

You asked the questions. Don't hate.

In fairness, he was Dline coach, asst HC and recruiting coordinator. Then he was a successful interim coach.

And to argue that O didn't hire the asst coaches and didn't do the majority of the recruiting-- tell me again how Aranda did these things at any job, past or present?

I'm not saying O is the man for the job, but your rank hatred of him is clouding any objectivity.

Yeah because you wouod love to have a head coach that couldnt run a defense or offense if h had too.

Ed orgeron is a career dline coach. You wanting him to be lsu's hc proves you hated miles more than you love lsu.
If Ed orgeron is such a great coach then why hasnt he gotten offers to be a dc at big time program. Programs like bama, ohio state, fsu, and notre dame would even interview ed orgeron for dc yet you want him to be the hc at lsu. It shows how much you care about lsu football. There are 50 different coordinators with a better resume than ed orgeron.

If Miles was doing sooooo well why did he get fired?????? Plus you are wrong(again) about coach O. Letting his coaches do their job is what great coaches do.. maybe if Miles had done this he may still be employed and his record here would be even better.....

Yellow teeth took them to the SEC Championship last year.
Once Franks takes over they will be fine. They are lacking a Quarterback

Georgia's was just a dumb hire.
You don't hire a Saban puppet and expect him to run a program
But even so, they are playing with a Freshman and in a few years I expect them
To be fine

He was reaching the level we wanted to be at.

You dont have a clue what youre talking about. Yeah im sure Saban doesnt do anything with the defense. Im sure chip kelly doesnt do anything with the offense. Jim Harbaugh doesnt do anything with the offense. Educate yourself.

If he fails in 3 years then Frank Wilson will have enough time as a HC to get the job

Does anyone think Petrino is on LSU's radar?
Is he still a D-bag?
Would he keep Aranda and run the O?
Could this combo beat bama?

How do you know coach O isn't involved???? Are you at practice??? Are you in the team meetings????? Bottom line is that you are reaching trying to find anything you can to bash coach O because he is doing a better job with this team than your fired boyfriend could do.....
