The SEC should bring in a marquis retired NFL official and rebuild the department.

Rebuild it from top to bottom. I do think the biggest problems are incompetence, artogance and complacency.
And I have read the SEC bylaws. It does not require a supermajority to force this but a mere 8 votes from member schools. One would think this would be easy but I fear some of the perennial mediocre schools are so addicted to the big SEC check they msy be afraid to rock the boat.
