Agreed, East/West on pure geography. Anything else and someone is going to be a bitch. Rotate the other side equally.

SECE---Carolina, UK, Vandy, Tenn, UGA, Florida, Auburn, Bama

SECW---Okla, Texass, Aggies, Arkie, Mizzou, LSU, OMiss, State

Stick with 8 SEC games because (1) ABC/ESPN, Disney is not gonna pay us for 9 and (2) 9 SEC games annually will mean LESS SEC teams in the CFP.

Tennessee beat Alabama and the teams they lost to. Who do you think was 3rd in conference that is going to go beat Ohio State on the road?

Send some of the teams packing to resurrect the Southwest Conference. Texas, Texas A&M. Arkansas can invite TCU, SMU, Baylor, Rice, Texas Tech, Oklahoma to join them. That would be better than SEC having 16 teams. Having evenly geographically split with SEC and SWC makes a helluva lot of sense.
