WTF is your problem?? A baller not ready to play cause its wet? Penn State played their 5 stars!

Go away from TD until you are a sophmore, the field conditions aren't good for you here.

The reason R S didn't play (Posted on 1/10/10 at 9:01 a.m.)
(CAP ONE)POOR FIELD CONDITIONS? I wouldn't have played him either. The game meant nothing. Where on here does it say opinion?

If he's not getting it done in that cattle pasture, what makes you think Sheppard would? LSU needed Charles Scott desparately in that game. He would have made the biggest difference IMO.

I agree, I could've understood if their reasoning was that the field conditions weren't condusive to his type of running, but we kept feeding it to Holliday who is the same type runner.

The reason RS didn't play hardly at all this season, was because it was Trindon's turn to play. You can't have 2 Trindon's.

Reason Shep didn't play is because Les Miles forgot he was on the freaking roster.

I thought the same thing, that maybe Miles was doing the smart thing for once and protecting RS from that field rather than playing him.

Difference between Trindon and RS is that Trindon runs in straight lines, where RS darts and cuts and moves laterally. On a field in that condition it would be easy to tear an ACL.

If that was the thinking Miles did the right thing. If he played him and tore an ACL everyone would be saying "Why was RS in the game?". Miles saw the injury on a similar player two nights before and should have known better than to play him.

Don't worry about these jackasses on here. Its a good thought.

Miles screwed up on him. Trindon is a sideshow for football. Dude is going to represent us in the Olympics. He should have been the one playing just a little. It helped the team ZERO by him stealing pt from Shep. THere is no basis to it except for Miles thinking that he was the ONLY thing at games to fire up the crowd and give them hope of scoring. Other than that, he did nothing special.
I think the world of Trindon, but I didn't see anything he did on returns or offense that Sheppard couldn't have done. And there is very little drop off in speed.

He was a sideshow and we ALL were forced to buy the tickets.

I agree totally with you. Trindon is good at kick returns because he gets the finds a seam and runs in a straight line.

Trindon at running back and receiver was not effective. RB Trindon is not shifty and does not have wiggle.
At receiver he is not physical enough to get off coverage and is not tall enough.

RS should have gotten the plays at RB Trindon got and Reuben Randle should have gotten the receiving plays Trindon got.

Trindon is a kick return specialist its that simple.

wouldn't it also be easy to tear an ACL on say, I don't know... a slip screen into the middle of said field after playing like 59 mins on it? does Les hate Brandon Lafell that much?
