He needs to go. It has been three years now and I'm not seeing any signs of progressing towards being a competitive team. I'm actually seeing signs of regression. Simply put, our team is less than mediocre.

But his team is playing much better considering the talent level they are playing against.

I'll give CMM credit for this, he tried something different after that devastating Ole Miss loss - he went small with the four guard lineup. It may not seem like much for in my experience with CMM trying something different other than starting a different guy here and there, was not something he has ever done much of at all, he pretty much stays with the system he starts the year with and plays it out like that.

But he tried this and it worked for a while, we can't rebound anyway so may as well go smaller and at least try to get a little more movement on offense and more switch ability on defense.

Well, it worked for a couple of games, but competition got better and adjustments were made and we absolutely have gotten hammered on the boards the last two games predictably, we have not been able to adjust back.

I still think there's some other things he could and should try like pressing after free throws, half-court trapping - pushing for early offense more often but very seldom do we try.

The problem with CMM is not the losing Posted by BallChamp002/25/25 at 9:54 pm It’s not even being competitive. The fan base deserves better. McMahon is not it. I’m still hearing he is gone at seasons end but it’s not as much a sure thing anymore, which is baffling. I don’t think enough are putting up for his buyout meaning the powers that be are saying screw basketball.

The number one major problem is all of the losing. What are you talking about?

but if you don't think we competed with Florida and Tennessee,
If you think we competed last night against Tennessee then you only looked at the score this morning on your phone. I was there. Beating Tennessee was never even a remote possibility at any point in that game. Covering the spread is not "competing".

Yes, I think I’ve been more patient with McMahon than most, except Woodward of course.

LSU needs a new head coach. I subscribe to the Peter Principle regarding coaches and McMahon has reached his level of incompetence. He only has a chance of success as a mid-major level coach, so he definitely shouldn’t be a major conference head coach.

Lmao it’s definitely the losing. This isn’t a participation league. You know how I know ur wrong? Tgey could win every game by one point at the buzzer after playing like shite for nearly the entire game and no one would give a frick because it’s about winning. Lose every game by 1 or by 30 and you still lose every game.
