re: The point spread just doesn't seem right?

Trust me, I understand what a spread is. I've been betting for years. That doesn't mean that the initial spread wasn't a little light, at least in my opinion

31-10 LSU.... Frazier is a turnover machine.

Someone hasn't bet recently...
Not counting the BCS Title Game last year:
8-1 against the spread in the SEC (didn't cover vs UK)
7-0 against the spread in road/neutral site games
But, hey, let's all just make generalizations about Miles

Remember this is college football.. Upsets are bound to happen..
USC lost to Oregon State not to long ago.
Oklahoma has choked being the top rank team..
Remember LSU losing to UK
Point is, upsets are what make cfb enjoyable and they are bound to happen.
Auburn may well get blown out but stranger things have happened.
WDE!

To the OP
I have been to the Auburn game in Auburn last 3 times and that is always a great tailgate and fun time. Inside the stadium its good and you just pray the refs will keep the linen in their pocket. I would take a 30-10 game now.

I used to have a gambling problem but almost went all in to take Auburn. Does Vegas even follow LSU - that we can struggle on offense and game was at a desperate Auburn. We were not likely to get quick D or specual team TD like vs. weaker teams.
It started at 18 1/2 and went up. This was oddest line I ever saw.

Anybody care to come back to this thread and say how their "easy money" worked out?

Mine did. Check halfway down the second page.
Going counterintuitive is usually the way to go. Granted, I was 5/10 for the weekend but 68% on the year.

So easy to say in hindsight.
I lost some dough on this and I have a very good win % in college football betting. I'm 12 for 16 this year so far. This has been the only one that wasn't close. If Mett doesn't fumble those two times this game is a blowout after the crowd is knocked out of it.

The year 2037 -NFL HOF Zach Mettenberger stuns the media with disclosure of his betting pranks during his college days at LSU - " I knew that we would easily win the title both years - I had a bet with Coach Miles and the team that I would fumble and throw INTs at random times and challenge the D to get back the ball".
The bet each time was that the loser would have to post ridiculous statements on a popular LSU internet message board.

Can we film it and post it on the rant?

I'm not a betting man, particularly on something as important as college football. However, if I were, if I see something like "LSU-Auburn" that's my criteria to take the game off the board.
There's just no money to be made in the series.
Keep this stat in mind if you don't buy that: Curley Hallman, as the LSU head coach was 8 points (properly distributed) from being 2-1 against Auburn.
1 TD or less has decided 16 out of the last 25 games (going back to 1980's 21-17 squeaker in Tiger Stadium).

The last couple of years Vegas has been long on LSU a lot.
