I think i watched a half of a game this season. Probably the best decision i ever made. The NBA has ruined college basketball. I guess if your a small school it has leveled the playing field though. I miss John Brady Can we start the Bring back john brady campaign. Only kidding!!

You know that sad, but relieved feeling you get when you have to put a pet down. That about sums up the end of the season.

How about you watch some baseball instead of posting pointless shite like this?

And I agree, thank god it's over.

Never thought of it like this.
Probably because I'm mostly just relieved.

The sadness is not for the end of the season. But for that diseased season.

I hope you posters that put down any sport that is affliated with LSU down, are only kids that only hope that they can go to LSU. When I was a student, football was good, basketball was mediocre, and baseball sucked. As an alumni of LSU, I support all the sports programs, whether they win or lose. Basketball wasn't that big of a sport at LSU until The Pistol came to the scene.

We weren't putting the sport down. I root for every LSU program, but come on, that was a terrible season. Hopefully they'll be better next year.

Turn on the Big East tourney and stop watching the SEC mess. CBB is fine

Don't worry - TJ has the program headed in the right direction.

Hey Mick, I was referring to all of my friends who graduated with me at LSU. BTW, I know the difference between singular and plural in the English language and when to use or not to use the appropriate form. Nice try to try to discredit my diploma from LSU.

How can you recruit at Stanford, one of the most difficult academic schools in the country and fall flat on your face here at Lsu? Coaching aside we just have a bunch of lousy players, great kids but lousy players. There are more white dudes on the basketball the basketball team than the golf team, that's never a good thing!

LSU doesn't have any ex-athletes who happened to have two 7 foot sons who have wanted to play here their whole life.

The guy who said watch the Big East tourney is absolutely right. I hardly follow SEC basketball aside from LSU and a few of the big games. Big East ball is where its at!

It was over when we lost to Nicholls State. Stick a fork in it and fire TJ now.

This.

My first LSU bball game I ever saw in person featured Rudy Macklin and Howard Carter. In high school, I was almost fired from TG&Y for calling in sick when I was really at the LSU game vs. Memphis in the first round of the 1986 NCAA tourney. I went to college with Chris Jackson, Stanley Roberts, and Shaquille O'Neal.

We were never a traditional powerhouse like Kentucky or UCLA or Indiana, but damn, we had some good teams and players.

LSU bball in the new century is kind of like football was in the 90s...sad and in a horrible state of affairs, IMO.

It is a shame that we have such a pitiful excuse for a basketball team. On the floor where Macklin, Martin, Cook, Carter, Mitchell, Sims, Taylor, Reynolds, Williams, Blanton, Wilson, Redden, Jackson O'Neal and so many others gave us so many great games. We have a heartless, talentless group getting their brains beaten out and showing no emotion.

I realize the program was down when Trent took over but he did not have to completely dismantle it. That is the worst collection of misfits I have ever seen at LSU!
