The future was decided in November of last year

We've said this so many times the past 5 years. The future of LSU football was shaped when our administration made the first of many rash and emotional decisions to keep Miles in November 2015.

Last Week shaped LSU football into a giant wet terd. It cannot get much worse. Take it back it will. O is throwing players under the bus, embarrassed the school last night, AJ Malone said few know the offensive playbook and the list goes on .. this is worse than I ever imagined. Lsu is now the biggest laughing stock in the SEC.

I think LSU will squeak by an offensively bad UF team and then get the doors blown off when they play Auburn.

Agree. Something tells me that if they can drag an ugly win back home Tiger Stadium will be vintage for Auburn and they pull off that one, too.

Lose to Florida and it could snowball out of control.

My opinion.

Orgeron is not going anywhere. We can't afford to fire him or his assistants.

All of this bitching is just hot air.

This can play out several ways, most of which are scary, but a couple of ways that are positive.

Here are the scenarios, worst to best.

1) LSU gets down 14 early, panics, gets frustrated, then loses by a large margin. Bad for everyone. Lots of finger pointing during and after the games. The bus breaks down on the way to the airport because so many people have been thrown under it from every direction. Nick Brossette gains 52 yards on 22 carries as LSU's feature back and Jacoby Stevens is pressed into duty at place kicker. Etling goes 9-22 with 84 yards and 2 INT. The defense allows 295 rushing yards and Florida wins 34-6. The TigerRant admins all declare that they picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue and taking amphetamines because of the severe melting on the board.

2) LSU plays their asses off and looks good, but loses a very close game decided by 6 points or less.

3) The 2 teams play down to each other's level in one of the shittiest 2:30 CBS games ever and Florida wins like 16-14. Lots of turnovers and penalties and general all around crappy offense on both sides.

4) LSU wins the game I described in 3).

5) LSU sees Guice, Lawrence, Weathersby, and Key all suck it up and play to their ability despite battling injury. LSU's defense shuts down Florida's run game and makes Franks beat them with his arm, but he can't do it. The patchwork OL gives Etling enough time to throw and opens up enough holes for Guice to roll and LSU wins 23-14.

6) O gets the troops fired up. All the hurt players are healthy...and they play pissed off football. We see the passion and fire that O brought his first couple games last year. Etling goes deep to Chark for a score early, then the D is stout. LSU relies on their run game to close it out. The Gator fans leave the Swamp en masse at the end of the 3rd quarter and LSU rolls 31-10. For the second straight week, LSU fricks up someone's homecomimg.

If I were betting on it, I would bet on #3....but ya never know!

He can be made to go away. The means are relative to the scope of the problem.

Florida has a pretty good DL and a better rushing game than us. I wouldn't necessarily be expecting a win here.

“ all this bitching is just hot air”

As I recall, that never stopped you from bitching continually about a coach who was actually winning and having success at LSU.

I guess all that bitching you were doing was just hot air as well, huh.
