And to top it off...our wr’s couldn’t run a decent route to save their lives either....I love LSU, but the talent was just not there.....rb was the only thing we had....that’s it

If you really think O ran them off....you’re as dumb as a box of rocks...that’s just code for they were loyal to Les...and were not going to do anything to help O...

you have no idea what you're talking about. if you think our pass blocking in 2016 sucked it just means you dont pay attention to other programs.

thats not the truth. it's the opinion of some guy watching a tv broadcast.
Truth is we had the most olinemen make an all sec team, a rimington award finalist at center, and led the country in yards before contact.
there are no facts that point to our 2016 line being anything except one of the best in cfb. your tv broadcast viewing doesnt outweigh that.

yeah football ignorant posters that think their opinions outweigh facts does bother me.

again, you dont watch other programs if you think our tackles were deplorable.
educate yourself instead of regurgitating bullshite rannt myths.
no one paid to evaluate oline play agrees with your assessment

I watched the games’....I watched our QB run for his life on almost every pass play....our line was shite....especially the tackles....
How many of our tackles play nfl ball?

Lsu needs new evaluators of offensive line talent, because the last 3 years of miles were a shite show

O was the recruiting coordinator for the 2016 class and the head coach for the 2017 class. It's time to let go of the Miles excuses.

The whole point of this thread is the epitome of “tearing someone else down to make yourself look better.” The fact that O’s PR guys are doing this means exactly what it always does when someone has to bring others down to improve their own image...he can’t stand on his own merit. He is trying to lower expectations to keep his job, because he knows he is incapable of equaling or exceeding his predecessor. So he must try to blame his predecessor in advance for his own failures.

Those guys were getting pushed all over the field at Bama....fluff
who are these olines that bama doesnt push around?
if youre gauging an oline by how well they do against bama, then no oline in cfb is good. like i said, you dont pay attention to other programs if you think our line sucked in 2015 or 2016.
2016 oline
3 olinemen made an all sec team( the most in the sec)
our center was a rimington award finalist
led the country in yards before contact
LSU'S sacks allowed % 5.75%
for reference bama's was 5.35%
Take a guess which oline was ranked #1 in the country in 2016.
but football ignorant posters like you say they sucked.
stop regurgitating rant myths.

did you come up with this great talent evaluation by watching a tv broadcast? or was it at a game? which is even worse at evaluating positional play.
no one on this site questioned talent until O herp derped his way ito losing twice by week 5

O’s Classes have yet to be tested....most of them were true freshmen dumbass....
Give it another season
Miles offensive line talent was shite....especially the last 3 years of his tenure
Whoever was evaluating the o line recruiting back then needs to pay LSU back....

You’re an idiot if you think Miles’ O lines were shite.
Miles’ offensive strategy was shite. His O lines were not.
But O can’t blame Miles’ offensive strategy for his own failures, so he has to try to blame the recruitment, which was never in question by ANYONE til O started losing to inferior teams.

in 2015 we finished about bama, ohio state and fsu in offensive ppg and offensive yards per game. how did we do that with a shite oline, Harris at qb?
no one paid to evaluate talent agrees with you and you dont have single shred of substance to back up this claim.
nothing but the opinion of someone watching a tv broadcast or worse, being in the stadium

Miles’ philosophy was to recruit roadgraders and hope they can pass block when needed
His o lines were all guards.....his talent sucked because they were playing out of position
They were good at guard....but you only need two of those they rest were shite.....
I watched them block....and whiff all the time....especially the tackles....too slow....Malone was always out of position especially against Bama were technical skill mattered more than just size...

LSU had a lineman who never even made it on to campus.
he was part of the 2017 class.
his name was seth stewart.
was he loyal to Les as well?
and Maea Teuhuma threw away a chance to be a 2nd or 3rd round pick to transfer from LSU weeks before the season started because he was loyal to Les?
gimme a break.
