He could easily have just as many more losses, like UF when he was forced to put Lee in who led the team to a win, or the Tennessee fiasco. I'd say it's evened itself out over the years and Miles consistent inconsistency is now on display for all to see. The national media caught on after the Tennessee game and last year's national championship game. Only those who are wearing the most purple and gold tinted glasses can find no fault in our coach or manage to interpret the events of what they witness as caused by some factor other than poor coaching.
for the 2010 season that is very true. he got lucky in 3 games that year(UF, UNC, and UT). i will not call the close games we had in 07 lucky because we should have been undefeated that year.

Yes because wins aren't important.
the PROCESS definitely worked against UF, Bama and Clemson huh?

Less Miles's goofiness is old. His coaching is worse. Please put him out to pasture...

Two words that define miles- "CLOCK IT!"

Think you have confused the Tigers with the KC Chiefs

He was yelling that when they had 2 secs on the board, then they switched it to 1 after they moved the chains down there. watch the tape.

but have u ever heard excerpts from his pregame or halftime locker room hollerings. frankly, i'm kind of a connoisseur of these type of sports speeches. IMO he is the best i have ever heard and he can think one up very quickly an deliver it with tha moxie of Rick Flair himself.
anybody ever heard the hollerings b/f the GT game in '08? It was the most epic I ever heard. Looked around and cant find it anymore if anyone has it please let me know. and we all know how that game turned out.
Remember, he is Schembechler's apprentice and his greatest product and Schembecher is known for giving pretty much the best recorded locker room pump up of all time in his famous "The Team" speech. youtube check it out. This feature of his talents is his greatest weapon. I'll bet u that's what Nick would say.
It is HUGE in the college game when things run on emotion so much and guys are younger. Nick respects this greatly and sees Les as dangerous for this reason mainly b/c it is the one thing he cannot do. Probly the greatest verbal motivator in sports of all time IMO. sorry those who dont wanna kno cant see it.

WTF? Like that changes anything? The timeout after the int. the lucky arse shite that was 2010 tenn. the guy couldn't manage a Waffle House.

actually, it changes a lot, u said it defines him but now wont defend one of the greatest bs miles hater topics of all time, the "clock it" issue. Look, trust me, I hear what u r saying but if u think Miles is not a good manager, well I guess u know more than the Skip Bertman about coaching. He's the one who chose Miles. Miles is actually a great Macromanager, but not a great Micromanager. Most managers are either good at one or the other. All the more reason we need a top OC to geaux along with our top DC. Macro vs Micro, geaux run a Waffle House for a month and maybe u will understand better. For me, I'll go with Skip.

I've done management. I understand the diff between macro and micro. I've also worked mass casualty incidents. Mistakes are made. We're all human. Sometimes people are just inept at anticipation and thinking quickly on the fly. I've seen this too many times from him. He out thinks and out "hats" himself too much now. He's always been lucky as hell. Now, his luck has run out.

Trudat. But u ever hear what the Father of the Constitution said bout luck.. "I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it." -Thomas Jefferson
Keep the faith, man. Look at this yrs recruiting class and 2014 will be even betta. Miles will rebound as will the Tigers.
