This was posted in wrong board ...
Alot of people on this board seem to be concerned about the product on the field; Death Valley is more than that ... When I go to the home games every year I still feel that magic and excitement run through my veins ... regardless of who we play ... despite our lackluster offense ... I just enjoy the excitement of the Tigers running on the field and the starry Saturday nights ... If our qb cant hit the great wall of china that is OK ... its far away ... Ill be rooting for this team all the way to greatness Next year ... Regardless of whether we are in the Hawaii Bowl or the Independence Bowl ... We need to step up as fans and refuse to leave the games early ... enjoy the experiences of just being ... being their ... being their apart of something wonderful ... a collective experience of tigers fans enjoy the poetic atmosphere ... every year we as fans can only do our part of showing up .. showing support ... buying concessions and apparel ... screaming our asses off and creating the atmosphere that both is intimidating for the opposing teams and creates a soothing experience for our qb's throwing the ball over the receivers head and for our offensive coordinators to take a deep breath after arguing with our head coach about the offensive scheme halfway through the season when our players have already bought in and we are losing to troy. GO tiger ... Lets Just enjoy the experience .. enjoy being !!!

No it's not.
The atmosphere is only good when the stadium is packed and that hardly happens because the product on the field is bad and Alleva has corporatized the frick out of ticket sales.

So given the choice between celebrating mediocrity or demanding excellence, you choose the former?

You’ll be saying this shite until they have to do “free corndog night” to get people to come to the games.

My Dad never missed a game from the 50's until 2000 when he couldn't go anymore.
My Dad never gave a crap whether they won or lost or who the coordinator was. He was there.
My dad passed away in 2010 and talked about that place until he died. I will do the same until I cant go anymore.
Pansies stay away.........let the TRUE fans go to the games. I am already looking forward to SE LA on Sept 9.
Geaux Tigers!!
