I guess it doesn't hurt that Luttrell's stepson attends LSU.

Fox News video announcing Marcus' stepson attending LSU:
Marcus Luttrell's step-son Hunter accepted into LSU

They’re going to wear out his message. Just had him before the Alabama game two years ago.
I’m sure Dereck shared some war stories with Marcus.

Vet to vet and Montanan to Montanan, O’Neill is a POS in real life.
And I like and admire Lutrrell a lot, but he should of roled them shepherds up.

It was...we know who this dude is today because they fricked up a mission. He wasn’t even a leader in the service

Special ops is the silence branch of service. Like our commander tells us “ if you are doing your shite right we ain’t supposed to be famous because people ain’t supposed to know who did it”.

There is a reason why these dudes are giving speeches and writing books as former and not active...

Active to vet...doesn’t work like that in war....just like sports, we practice and execute the mission as planned. The enemy gets a vote true - but in special operations there is a calculated level of risk assumed before aborting.

What in the hell are you talking about? How was he not a leader in the service? Probably more of a man than you will ever be.

Not exactly sure what you are saying. Please feel free to expound.
But as one who fought in war—3 times—adapt and overcome—do what it takes to complete the mission and bring all your boys home in one piece

I was gonna walk away....but I have changed my mind. You struck a nerve.

How in the frick can you say 1 man fricked up his mission?

How many missions have you been on? I mean, real world. I've done my fair share and about half went perfect. The rest didn't. Why? Bad intel. Arrogance. Whatever. In the end, improvisation won the day.
Lutrell survived some surreal shite. Salute and congratulate.

From you, I smell judgement with little real world knowledge.

Check my knuckles. I'M game
