Saban is the only one on your list who has proved it. Many of them have 'so called' better talent at the beginning of the year. Then miraculously, when LSU starts beating everyone, we do because of our talent.

Show us how these other guys have proved it!

Arbitrary comment to be placed in all my post follows. 'Narrow-mindedness is a major character flaw and is evident in many of the LSU So-called Fans.'

- 13 - 1 Best LSU Record Ever Against the -
- Toughest Schedule by most accounts ever
- SEC West and Overall Conference Champs
- Split with the National Champions, Beat them at thier home with over 100K of thier fans present.

I love this team and will remember this always!

Can't win with LSU's talent base. You're a complete MORON if you believe they can't!
It's funny how much the list of supposedly better coaches has changed over the past four years.

So many supposedly better coaches have fallen off the list.

I still can't believe that dude put Brian Kelly, Bo Pelini, and Art fricking Briles on that list.

These guys are on the same level as Miles. You give them the same talent, they'll win. F'ing Gene Chizik won a national title. Come on dude, freaking wake up!

What makes you think any coach on that list besides Saban is at Miles level? Any coach you name will have a worse record and has had just as big of a letdown as Miles had in the NC game.

Ok, first off, Saban and Miles aren't even close to being on the same level. Saban is hands down better. And you have no way of knowing what a coach would do if they had LSU's team this year. I'd be willing to bet some of the ones I named would finish 14-0, some no worse than 13-1.

Does anyone credit Miles for constructing the team that is on the field? The coach is a total package deal, not just play calling and game managing.

stats say otherwise. but hey...you know the old saying. numbers always lie

either do you...but you still went ahead and posted this...

some of those guys you listed don't even know the definition of defense

bullshite. Bo Pelini has one disappointing season after another. You think our QB situation was bad then apparently you didn't watch Notre Dame's QBs this year. And Art fricking Briles lost 3 games with the Heisman winner along with having some of the worst defensive performances of the year. Before this year his career coaching record was 49-50.

Except for that 3-3 head to head record. Did Saban outcoach Miles in the NC? Yes, but Miles has done his fair share of outcoaching Saban.

I know what those coaches have done with similar talent and expectations and none of them have stacked up to the season Miles just put up or even his career at LSU.

How would all of those guys you listed, and Miles for that matter, do with Bama's roster?

Oh, and who exactly "gave" Miles this roster this year?

I'll hang up and listen.

More times than not the next coach after a great coach fails to maintain. You act as if "all miles has to do is maintain", no. Miles has done a great job of keeping the talent coming in and keeping the wins coming.

The perception seems to be that miles cannot beat saban twice but saban can beat miles twice. We happen to just have 2 great coaches in the division as opposed to the 1 great coach when saban was at LSU. They are even against each other with a great chance of miles having the edge again after next year.

And there's something else we know- how Saban would do with Michigan St's roster....Independence Bowl.

Serious question.. Are you actually an lsu fan? Because all I have ever seen you do is tear down the lsu program, insult the coaches and talk down about the team.

In contrast you are always pro bama. Are you a gump that just posts a lot on this board?

Probably about 13-1. LSU and Alabama very similar teams as far as talent.

Ok, so maybe Miles can recruit. Miles should be Nick Saban's recruiting coordinator.

I'll hang up and listen.

I've been straight forward from the get go with Miles. I've never liked him.
