I truly believe that that win bought him so much leeway with a large portion of the fanbase. It was a great great win but it was just enough to give people of taste of "oh shite he beat Saban year 1, he really is going to win big here." Well we are 2 years removed from that and what do we have to show for it? We should be worried and the positigers have to stop thinking he's gonna just pull Bama 2022 out every big games.
That game is the exception to everything we know about him

This should have been the 1st question at the press conference. The shitty 3rd down call aside, why not get to the line and chuck a hail mary? There is absolutely no excuse

Only thing I could think of is he was scared of a pick 6 on a Hail Mary. I may not have ever seen a coach with less balls. We are a long way from lesticals
