He doesn't run his mouth to defeat his opponents psychologically. He runs his mouth because that's who he is.

BLOGGERS...............frick those guys, dudes always writing shite thinking their opinions mean something. It's worse than fricking twitter because it's planned , proofread, and intentionally derived.

Matt Hinton, Chris Brown (SmartFootball) and Spencer Hall (EDSBS) are the three best CFB writers. All three are bloggers.

I will take their opinions over any traditional journalist every day of the week.

Maybe you would want more fans to be like you; which would be a shame.

If jeremy shockey played for lsu, and crewe spoke the same way about him, you would care less.

Seems that you are turning this into politics, which you said you hate to be associated with but evey post here, seems to contradict that.....including starting the whole comparison of tm7 to obama.

Getting offended on the rant won't win you any cash settlements here, son.

First off Im Black. I have been made fun of by blacks for being a Tiger fan since I was kid. So no I don't want every LSU fan to feel the way I do.. What kind of closed minded shite do you think I'm on.

I never intended on turing this thing political. I made a SOCIAL OBSERVATION and people on here took it in 9 different directions. The name Obama seems to be the most distracting from the point. I actually don't like Obama, I don't like any politicians to be honest, but i merely used him as an example because he like The Badger is a pretty polarizing figure.

The funny thing is that my original post is a water downed version of a joke i told as apart of my standup routine. I just find it pretty ironic that a stadium full of (insert majority social class/mindset) cheering for (insert polar opposite class/ mindset). I always summed it up by saying its a BEAUTIFUL thing when walls are torn down. Thats why sports is the best theatre around. I mean how funny would it be to see 10,000 people from North Baton Rouge tailgating and leaving no empty seats for the Episcopal v Dunham swim meet.

These contests are full of trash talk and even worse at the bottom of piles.
It's competitive posturing, or bowing up, and it's in most every contact sport I can think of.
You have to believe you're better than your opponent to conquer him and a lot of trash talk is self assurance you can get it done.
Of course it tends to get under the skin of the meek, less athletic types, like amateur wannabe sportswriters.
It's been been going on for years, there just wasn't twitter then spreading it to a bunch of bored people subscribing to teenagers' random shite talking.
Maybe those subscribers should look in the mirror and ask some questions.

Hey, Bread, I'm white. I guess that makes me "white bread". Just curious, why would you be made fun of by other blacks for being a tiger fan? We're u supposed to like FSU or Da U ? Are there "black teams"? Is it a black sports/cultural thang ?

No its only unique to Baton Rouge. Kind of an old school thinking i guess. Some people may say supporting LSU is a "WHITE" thing. How many blacks do you see at Tigermania or other stores swallowing up LSU gear? I wouldn't say the majority of blacks in town feel this way but its more "Barbershop" thinking if you catch my drift. Its the equivalent of a black dude supporting country music for example. There is nothing wrong with it at all but I bet that some blacks would call you out as a "sell out" or what not. People who would actually vocalize this belief are probably not too high up in the IQ charts being that LSU is a university made up of students from tons of nationalities. I totally get why someone would feel that way especially if they have lived in Baton Rouge for more than 25 years, because from their point of view LSU fans are for the most part the "well to do" elite rich people of Baton Rouge who never live next to, associate with, or even try to relate to that persons point of view. Im not trying to generalize either side because we have exceptions to every rule but imo some people view things in that way.

In reality this thinking is quickly on the decline, Almost non existent... especially during LSU's recent 12 year rise. Everyone in town black, white and green know LSU football is a national top draw. A spectacle that is showcased by the biggest Networks and seen by millions around the country. But not too long ago in Baton Rouge, blacks were not allowed on LSU teams or stadiums and ripples from those times although WAAAAAY less than ever before can be seen in todays society.

Some blacks want to accepted, yet, find some strange ways to remain segregated. The last time I checked, supporting NCAA football is to support a high percentage of young black men. Granted, they're not getting "paid", but if people stop caring, who pays for scholarships, room/board, meals, clothing, etc. LSU is no blacker/whiter than any of the 1-A for the most part. Hey, i have to drive 9 hrs to catch the tigers. I guarantee I don't come down in the 200K motor home, nor do I sit in the boxes. I'm a college educated, average white guy that lives sports. Anyway, thanks. I was just curious as to why the support of the flagship university, made up of predominately black players, in a state with a large black population would be a "white thang".

So I wonder if BREAD still uses this silly analogy "that albertsons wants to hire tm7 now" , or If the majority of Lsu fans are that racist.

All Paul crewe was saying was that mathieu was hard to like, and some kids on the rant went ridiculous and played the race card, because that's all they know to do. it's like going back to mama because it's so easy these days.

Sometimes you kids just have to let things play out.
