Transitive property argument? Really? I'm done with you.

you ask for proof over opinion then give your opinion that my proof is shite. works both ways.

Transitive property isn't exactly proof in sports.

3 free possessions to OM in the first half and scoring zero points in the first half is where this game was lost IMO.

This game was lost on Ole Miss's final drive. LSU had the whole second half to overcome the first.

Game never gets there without those INTs. All 60 minutes matter. You can't take a half off and expect to win on the road against a team that is more than capable of beating you.

It's not an either/or thing here. LSU doesn't have the defense to play from behind.

The offense wasted it's possessions in the first half when the game plan was to shorten the game and limit possessions. You can't give away possessions with that strategy.

In the second half the defense gave up long drives after we made plays to get back in the game. Both units are responsible for that loss.

Since Les admited the lose was his fault, he should donate 1/11th of his salary to some charity...then he would really feel the pain and have some incentive to not let it happen again.

Funny thing about football, you jockey for position most of the game and win at the end. This is exactly what happened Saturday. Unfortunately the team that wanted it most was the home team.

The offense did a good job of settling down at halftime, the defense didn't.

Can we possibly move on now from the ridiculous "fire people" nonsense?

No, because everyone who has a limited knowledge of football or played pee wee touch, thinks they know whats going on with the LSU football program.

I.E. RS needs to throw a halback pass or RS will be a great pro player, yada, yada, yada.

How is that any different than any other sport? Bottom line, if we had done ANYTHING offensively in the first half, we win the game.

come on, dude.

And I'm not saying this to bash CLM, but let's be real about the conclusion of that game.

We have no idea what would have happened had LSU gone in with a 10-0 lead instead of Ole Miss. The dynamics of the game would have changed.

Did the players put 13 men on UT's defense?

I can agree with that, I just can't understand how we consistently struggle against teams that don't measure up to us. It's a yearly thing with this team and as players come and players go the head coach is the only mainstay.

Are you really going to sit here and say it is unlikely we win if the offense doesn't get the defense tired early while scoring no points in 30 minutes of football?

Fine. If CLM intentionally caused that much confusion on the part of UT, then I give all credit due. The fact is that LSU had so many players on/off the field at once, it would have been impossible to prepare for the proper personell on the part of the defense

The end of that game was absolute chaos. And yes, I do feel that the players deserve far more credit than the play callers, whoever they may be or may have been

I've watched enough football to know that you and I both have no clue what the second half would hold if the first half had been different.

But you can be opinionated and pretend if you choose.

the defense has played shitty whether it's fresh or tired.

It is not unique to our program. Bama for example has had several close games during their run that had no business being close or losing.
