The solution is obvious. We just need someone, some super great head coach, who can get us the impossible to stop offense of, say, Oregon, or Baylor, but bring us the same defense as, say, LSU and Alabama in 2011!
Gee, I hope that no other school or fan base thinks of this, first. I'd sure hate it if some other school is looking for the same thing and steals our NO. 1 prospect, whoever that is. I can't find anybody who fits the bill in coaching, right now. Can you?

If anyone is excited about 8-4 they have to be comfortable with not being successful in their career . This team continues to underachieve because of poor leadership.
Again LM is a good person, that is left behind in today's game. I see no N C for this program unless he does a complete turn in his thinking.

Going into the season I thought 10 wins would be tough and it would be more like 9-3 or 8-4. Met my expectations. It doesn't mean I'm happy with 8-4. It doesn't mean I'm not successful in my career. It means I'm a realist.
That being said, I will be highly disappointed with less than 10 wins next season.
On a side note, this board fricking sucks these days. I need a fricking anti-depressant prescription just reading it. Grow up or go to Walmart and become Bama fans. I honestly don't care which.

It's really embarrassing how bad some lsu fans have gotten. I'm hoping they get miserable enough to leave and become Bama fans.

The truth is about 90%-95% of this very same board predicted LSU to be significantly worse than 8-4, after the Auburn game. In fact, many predicted LSU would not win an SEC game. Given our start, I think 8-4 is pretty damn good. I do believe if LSu would have held on against Bama, and went 9-3, it would be considered a very successful season, everything being considered. A nice bowl win and 9-4 record would not be horrible......however, obviously, that's not a record we want to get used to, and despite what some say, that's not been a typical record under Miles.

the comical thing is that she (Dukke) is posting crap like "I am right with almost everything I post" (I didn't capitalize because didn't want to be considered a drama queen girl like she is) and yet is by far the WORST poster in terms of predicting wins/losses on LSU games. She actually said this year that LSU couldn't beat Ole Miss, and said that Texas A&M would completely destroy us. Of course, I was happy about those predictions. The one that pissed me off was him predicting LSU to beat Bama.......honestly the kiss of death with him. she is very rarely right about anything LSU.

It doesn't hurt them that they generally always get the calls in close games that could go either way.....almost without fail.
