The effort from the offense compared to the defense last night was substantial

That defense went out there and played like it was an SEC game. Constant swarming to the ball, played with energy, totally locked in.

The offense was more than flat footed or slow to get started. They had a severe lack of effort and care in that game. It was more than just some bone-headed mistakes. Receivers (apart from Green) were extremely lackadaisical but the bigger issue was the line.

That O line not being able to enforce their will on the 1 against a La. tech defensive front is embarrassing. There's enough of a talent disparity there that you should be able to punch it in, inside the 5 by simply playing your best.

It was just odd to see that side of the ball being so aloof and sloppy while the D came to play.

No, man. That’s just what the LA Tech fans are saying about their offense.
