Ash and maple primarily I think. Hickory in the early days. Don’t think Oak has ever been a thing, but then again, OP ‘played ball’.

I think that Ash is the most common wood for baseball bats. I could be wrong.

if the team had no fight then the 8th and 9th innings wouldnt be ,by far, our most productive over the course of the year so far.

were outscored our opponents by an unreal amount in the 8th and 9th innings. before last weekend it was somewhere around 85-18 iirc
