Yep. I wasn't even letting myself really hope for this bc I didn't imagine we'd ever hire a guy like this, but he's got the makings of a superstar coach. Still can't believe Alleva got it done.
Reading about Wade's approach to coaching and listening to him speak.....this guy is gonna be a big time coach. No doubt about it. He seems one step ahead and takes a very process, detail oriented approach. Evidently, he's a pretty good recruiter too. He's gonna be a great one.
Maybe he wasn't bullshitting when he allegedly spoke glowingly of LSU (some claiming he said it was his dream job) and aggressively expressed interest in the job. Maybe he sees the potential for this program to be a powerhouse like saban did with football. It would be nice if this type of scenario finally worked out for us in basketball
